About the Logo
The logo design, for "Join the BLUE Revolution" is a hybrid collectbile. I took the front end of our 1964 Impala SS and the back end of our 1969 Chevelle SS396 to create what we call a "Chepala".
Join the BLUE Revolution and receive a BLUE Revolution T-Shirt, "Save the Boy's" magnetic ribbon, book mark, wrist band and window cling. Most of the proceeds of joining go to the American Cancer Society.
Community Fund Raising Kit:
By Greg Nelson
Over the past few years the color pink has become synonymous with the fight against breast cancer.
Dennis Dunlap of Alma would someday like to make the color blue have the same meaning when it comes to raising awareness of testicular and other forms of cancer.
He and his family have founded “Save the Boys” in an effort to raise money for cancer research, detection, prevention and education.
“For the past 17 years our family has been involved with the Relay for Life (in) Gratiot County,” Dunlap said. “For years I have noticed at our monthly team captain's meetings that the number of men involved is very low.
“For now I will not limit the
color of blue to the vehicles in the show, (but) we will give special recognition for blue vehicles,” he said.
Everyone who enters a car
will also receive a blue T-shirt.
Dunlap's ultimate goal is, “To have Blue Revolution Car Shows
become a national event in every
community in the United States,” he said.
